Fratello Toro

$6.19 (Limit of 5)Size: 6 1/4″ x 54
Wrapper: Nicaraguan Habano
Binder: Ecuadorian Sumatra

Released in September 2013 by entrepreneur Omar de Frias, Fratello is produced – like many other masterful blends – in Esteli, Nicaragua, a small town which has become the cigar-crafting center of the post-embargo world. His company’s namesake cigar (fratello is Italian for “brother,” a college nickname of de Frias) is a full-bodied blend of Nicaraguan, Ecuadorian, and Peruvian tobaccos which produces a dark, earthy/leathery undertone accented by notes of citrus, spice (primarily nutmeg and cinnamon), some pepper, and coffee. A potent, meaty cigar which would make a fine follow-up to a hearty meal. Come on over and try one today!
