NEW THIS WEEK:

Alec Bradley COYOL Series!

In honor of the Coyol Farm in the Trojes region of Honduras – source of a particularly fine strain of tobacco – Alec Bradley has released an entirely new line, and it’s an absolute treasure trove of flavor! A blend of Nicaraguan fillers combined with the stunning Coyol leaf, each cigar provides a wealth of complexity ranging from earthy spice to a creamy caramel sweetness to a rich salty vanilla, with none of these layers overwhelming the others.Rumor has it that these are rather hard to locate, but we’ve got four sizes on the shelf and ready to go: petit lancero (6 1/2″ x 41), robusto (5″ x 52), toro (6″ x 52), and gordo (6″ x 60 ). Stop by and stock up while we’ve got them!

ALSO NEW:

La Flor Dominicana CAPITULO II!

A sequel of sorts to the popular LFD Chapter One, this is the second cigar developed by Tony Gomez (son of the legendary Litto Gomez) for La Flor Dominicana. The Capitulo II (that’s capitulo dos – appropriately enough, “Chapter Two”; the Spanish phrase was used to avoid confusion with various other “Chapter” -named lines from other companies this past year) is a potent combination of Nicaraguan Colorado wrapper, Ecuadorian Habano binder, and Dominican fillers. Featuring LFD’s signature chisel-cap, this is a real bombshell of leathery coffee flavor with nutty cinnamon notes creeping in just past the halfway point. It’s a big one, too – at 6 1/2″ x 58, this is a chisel to be reckoned with. Smoke it slowly and enjoy!

More new stuff from LFD:

La Flor Dominicana 1994 Series!

While Tony was busy developing the Capitulo II, his pop Litto Gomez came up with a new line of his own. The new LFD 1994 Series utilizes Dominican fillers and binder (from the La Canela region of Santiago), with a wrapper of Mexican San Andrés for additional kick. This formidable combination results in an exceptional smoke with characteristics of dark chocolate, orange peel, and a slightly chalky flavor that adds an interesting dimension of mineral smoothness to the mix.We have two sizes in the humidor: the 6 1/2″ x 52 Rumba and the 7″ x 54Mambo. Either one will prove a pleasant nightcap after an evening of wining and dining. Come by and sample Litto’s latest!

New from Espinosa Cigars:

The 601 La Bomba Warhead II!

As the supply of last year’s popular limited-edition Warhead begins to dwindle,La Zona‘s master blender Erik Espinosa has wasted no time revamping the blend for its successor: The Warhead II, a spicy blast of Nicaraguan fillers and binder with a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper that packs a solid punch. The blend was lightly modified to compensate for the scarcity of certain leaves, and the size was also tweaked a bit: Last year’s Warhead being a 6 1/2″ x 54 toro, this new iteration could be considered a robusto gordo at 5″ x 56.Limited to 2,000 boxes, they’ll be hard to find…unless you come here first! Be prepared for the blast of La Bomba!
