For the first time, Carrillo has used a 50/50 ratio of Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers (typically, his blends are 80% Dominican, 20% Nicaraguan) and an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper taken from a higher priming on the pilón for even more strength. The flavor profile includes elements of spice, hickory, and almond, with just a hint of fruity sweetness (reminiscent of melon or apple) lurking in the background.
