Raices Cubanas 1941 Toro
$6.59 (Limit of 5)Size: 6″ x 54
Wrapper: Honduran
Binder: Nicaraguan
Filler: Honduran & Nicaraguan
The Raices Cubana 1941, introduced last fall, is the brainchild of Romay Endemaño (with some input from Alec Bradley) and takes its name from the renowned factory in Danlí, Honduras where it is produced: Fabrica de Tabacos Raíces Cubanas S. de R.L. (and I’m sure you’ll agree that “Raices Cubanas” is an agreeable abbreviation). Comprised of excellent Honduran and Nicaraguan tobaccos, it’s a thoroughly enjoyable smoke which starts out mellow and works its way into a rich, buttery combination of earthy/leathery notes with an underlying sweetness reminiscent of honey or toffee. An excellent cigar, made all the more enjoyable by this week’s special price. Grab a few while you can!
