Another fine product of A.J. Fernandez, the San Lotano line – in particular, the Oval series – are extremely well crafted cigars full of rich flavor and sold at a reasonable price point. The Oval Maduros, comprised of the same binder and fillers as their Habano counterparts, are enriched by the addition of an Ecuadorian Habano Maduro wrapper which imparts a robust, earthy bass note as well as rich overtones of cream, coffee, and leather, a heady blend which is not at all overpowering.
